What belongs in an Ausbildung Lebenslauf

Person writing a curriculum vitae on paper

An Ausbildung Lebenslauf is short, factual, and easy to scan in a busy Handwerksbüro. Fancy graphics rarely help. What helps is evidence that you can show up, learn with your hands or with customers, and stick through Berufsschule blocks.

Lead with school and relevant practice

List your current school, expected Abschluss, and subjects that matter for the trade — not every elective. Put Praktikum and part-time work near the top if they connect to the Stellenausschreibung. A bakery applicant’s Saturday café shifts matter more than a generic “team player” line.

Certificates without clutter

Include First Aid, forklift, or language certificates only when the firm would care. Attach Zeugnis pages as requested; do not paste long grade tables into the Lebenslauf itself.

Photo and personal details

German apprenticeship applications still often include a photo. If you use one, keep it simple and current. Address, phone, and email must be ones you actually check — many invitations arrive within a few days.
